CONDIS' commitment to sustainability

As a leading company in its field with a history spanning more than a century, CONDIS is dedicated to integrating sustainability into its corporate vision and strategy.

An integrated approach

With the vision to become a global reference in next-generation substations for a safe and reliable power grid by 2028, our approach began with the company’s senior management identifying the sustainability issues they considered the most important to the business, which resulted in a list of nineteen.

We then compiled a list of key stakeholders whose profiles ensured fair representativeness and asked them to rate the importance of the same issues according to their own criteria.

Thanks to the precious cooperation of the survey participants, we were able to gather valuable information that was processed through a materiality matrix.

Of the nineteen initial issues, six were identified as being of particular importance to the business:

  • Act with integrity and ethics and be trustworthy
  • Deliver top-quality products and services
  • Attract, retain, and develop the company’s human capital
  • Support innovation by investing in R&D
  • Manage the risks inherent in our activities
  • Ensure information security

Please refer to CONDIS’ [materiality matrix] and [corporate policy] for more details.

Human capital development

Human capital emerged as the cornerstone of our sustainability priorities. We believe that integrating sustainability into our vision and strategy is the best way to avoid compromising it. Our updated vision statement reflects this:

“By 2028, we will be a global reference in next-generation substations for a safe and reliable power grid, through the sustainable development of our human capital.”

Taking the next steps

Based on the results of this assessment, we have established an ambitious and integrated sustainability programme for the next five years, with a strategic focus on the company’s attractiveness and a step-by-step approach with reasonable annual targets.

2024 will be dedicated to maintaining our high levels of employee satisfaction (NPS ≥ 8) and retention (> 90%), and strengthening our corporate awareness on critical issues such as business conduct and ethics, and cybersecurity.

Our actions and key milestones will be published and shared with the public on a regular basis. We invite you to follow us on [LinkedIn] to stay up to date.

We thank you for your interest and support. We would also like to thank all of our stakeholders for their contributions and valuable insights, which have helped us to better focus our priorities to be a responsible and positive player in our marketplace and broader community.
